Ruaha National Park

Ruaha National Park is one of Tanzania's largest and most biodiverse national parks, offering an incredible safari experience in the heart of the country. Covering an area of approximately 20,226 square kilometers, Ruaha is situated in central Tanzania, making it the largest national park in the country. Established in 1964, the park is named after the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its eastern border. Ruaha National Park is located in the central part of Tanzania, bordered by the Iringa and Dodoma regions. It is part of the larger Rungwa-Kizigo-Muhesi ecosystem, which includes several other protected areas.
